Taking into account its cycle and its natural territory, and preserving its quantity and quality is an asset for their development.<\/p><p>There are 12 river basins in France, including 7 in mainland France. In each of these basins, a Basin Committee coordinates consultation between water users, elected representatives and the State on the management of water resources and aquatic environments.\u00a0<\/p><p>The territory of the CC Vall\u00e9e de la Haute Sarthe is located in the Loire-Brittany Basin, which is managed by the Loire-Brittany Water Agency (AELB).<\/p><p>It supports elected representatives in their projects and investments, offering them solutions for sustainable and resilient water management.<\/p><p>Adopted for 6 years by the Basin Committee, the Master Plan for Water Development and Management (WDM) is a planning tool designed to ensure the management of water resources and aquatic ecosystems. It was 80% funded by the AELB.<\/p><p>This audit identified the various problems facing the Haute Sarthe basin.<\/p><p>Development work will have to be considered.<\/p><p><!-- notionvc:
